Jack Angelo

Jack Angelo's Memorial
Donate in Jack Angelo's Name
Donations were made in Jack Angelo's memory by Doctors and Staff of the Aerowood Animal Hospital and Crystal A.. His memorial was created on 4/30/2013.
Jack Angelo is a blue merle Australian Shepherd with a love for life grander than anyone I've known. He suffered much in his short life, though. He did not let his epilepsy keep him down and is an inspiration to his family and to all those who know him. He is strong, kind, agile, athletic, talented, loving, loyal, and fiercely protective of his family. His personality can fill a room and his presence with sheep was undeniable. He spoke to them, silently, and they always listened. Herding is in his blood and no training was ever needed to show him how to herd. He loves his mom deeply and our connection is unbreakable. He is my heart and soul. He decided it was time to rest after only three short years with me. He is still a huge presence to me daily and I miss his beautiful face and character. 11.10.2009 - 11.13.2012

My darling Jack Angelo...This year without you has been the most difficult time in my life. Although I have my family and your brothers, the gaping wound from your loss makes everything incomplete. My daily struggles, though, do not compare to the pain you endured at the hands of epilepsy. I will never stop fighting for you. I will never stop believing that there is a cure. You are always in our hearts and souls and continue to be a part of our daily life. You inspire me. You are my Guardian Angelo. I will see you soon.

Today is your 2 year Freedom from epilepsy anniversary. The pain of your leaving never subsides, but I work hard to honor your name and to make your proud. You'll never be far from me and I know you and I will be together again. I love you, baby blue! Here is something I wrote today: Jack Angelo November 10, 2009 - November 13, 2012 Jack Angelo was such a talented, brave, courageous, and intelligent boy. His comical attitude, pride, and adventurous antics were always a source of happiness in our family. Despite his diagnosis with epilepsy at a year old, he never let it slow him down. He awoke each day with a happy heart and a "go get 'em" attitude. He enjoyed swimming, working sheep, agility, and playing with his brother Rebel. I learned everything from Jack. He taught me how to see the world and to never quit, tire, or accept less for myself. A powerful presence then and now. I won't say he's gone because I know he lives on with me every day. I will say that he's given me reason to fight the brave fight. He is my heart and inspiration from now until we are reunited.
