Donate in Baron's Name
A donation was made in Baron's memory by Doctors and Staff of the Companion Pet Clinic - Cascade Park. His memorial was created on 5/1/2013.
This is my story of the German shepherd laws we learned in Property ownership.

1. If it is in my mouth, it’s mine.
2. If I like it, it’s mine.
3. If I can take it away from you, it’s mine.
4. If I ever had it, anytime, it’s mine.
5. If I am chewing something up, all the pieces are still mine.
6. If it looks at all like anything that is mine, it’s mine.
7. If it is mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
8. If I saw it first, it’s mine.
9. If you are playing with anything and later put it down, it’s mine.
10. If it is broken, it’s yours.

Now after all that, this story of our German shepherd Baron and is quite interesting as you read and we cover the first time we encountered meeting Baron. Baron came into our lives, not very old, full of fire and stubbornness. Little did we know THAT THIS Dog would melt the hearts of all who came in contact with him and also very inseparable to what he wanted and not so much what we expected? As time pass we began to learn that he had previous training of things, but he hid many, so we weren’t privy to how much knowledge he really knew. He loved children especially our grandchildren which lived with us for half of the years we had him. Baron just became part of our family as he enjoyed watching movies, eating popcorn, riding in the car as well as eating and drinking anything in his path. He met various challenges with allergies and chronic ear infections. But of course, it never slowed him down or kept him from moving around, or playing. As our friend he was most treasured nugget you might say. Baron melted the hearts of Pet Companion clinic which new him just as we did. The staff along with Dr. Joe, couldn’t get enough of Mr. Baron they would say. His cleaning Parlor loved him and considered him their personal mascot of the shop because he alerted them of incoming ANIMALS and PEOPLE. We shared times at the Happy Barker Kennel when we vacationed and he became very curious and known there too. The memories are endless especially when he thought we were gone too long, Mr. Baron would try to get out of his cage. Yes, Baron was quite the Male King Dog.

He celebrated holidays with us including eating what we had even if it wasn’t given to him. Our hearts are broken with sadness for he will be missed, but we know he is in a better place with no more suffering. Most animals suffer long, but for Baron it was sudden and we made a decision not to let go on suffering. We know now there will never be a better friend, companion or better loved dog with whom we know when we got Baron. He was unique, smart, funny and witty in so many ways, so lighting his journey is a working Dog prayer I delicate in memory.

My eyes are your eyes, to watch and protect you and yours.

My ears are your ears, to hear and detect evil minds in the dark.

My nose is your nose, to scent the invader of your domain.

So you may live my life is also yours……
